Open Days 2026 - Scottish Borders Campus

Our open days at our Scottish Borders campus in Galashiels offer you the perfect opportunity to discover what it’s really like to be a design, fashion or textiles student at Heriot-Watt.

You’ll be able to explore the campus, which is based in a historic landmark building, the High Mill, and that has recently undergone a £2.5m refurbishment. Get the opportunity to meet our friendly academics and find out what you can expect from your chosen programme as well as the support services available to you including our award-winning careers services, that can help you with everything from CV tailoring to finding internships or part-time through Unitemps, our on-campus job agency.

You’ll also get to chat with current students, who can share their experiences and offer advice about university life. They can tell you about their studies, accommodation, social activities, and what they enjoy most about being part of the global Heriot-Watt community.
