In partnership with the Get Into Teaching service, the Co-op Academies Trust is offering undergraduates an exciting opportunity to gain experience in teaching via the Teaching Internships Programme.
Paid teaching internships offer real classroom experience, mentoring, and insight into teaching and career progression at Co-op Academies Trust. Interns gain priority access to ITT recruitment.

- Salary: £455 per week (3 to 4-week placement, DfE funded)
- Duration: 3 weeks | Full Time | 22nd June -10th July 2026
- Location: Greater Manchester, West Yorkshire, Merseyside & Stoke
- Applicants must ensure they can commit to and will be available to attend on every day of the internship.
What we are looking for
You'll need to be studying for a related undergraduate or master's degree and interested in teaching one of the following:
- chemistry
- computing
- design and technology
- languages
- maths
- physics
You must not be a first year student
You must have the right to work in the UK. If you are an international student, please check your visa status, as many student visas permit working up to 20 hours per week during term time and full-time during holidays.
Applicants must have a degree in the subject they are applying to teach, or a closely related degree alongside a strong Level 3 qualification.
If a trainee needs to improve their subject knowledge, they may be asked to complete a subject knowledge enhancement (SKE) course.
